The Xenith backplate provides protection to the lower back. 
It attaches to the shoulder pad through two nylon laces.
Compatible with all Xenith shoulder pads and most other brands.
Size S is recommended for kids, while size L is recommended for adults. Size S can still be used by adults who find a smaller backplate more comfortable.
